Tell me who you are…!
The roles
and status
The roles allow you to know in just a glance who you are talking to on the platform. They are identified by pictograms under their profile pictures, and only the fair’s designated organizer can attribute them.
The status of the users will tell you if a person is connected and available (or not) to discuss with you.
The roles in more details
It is the organizer who gives out the roles to the different users, it is, therefore, important to well understand their different qualities.
User
Anyone who has registered on the platform with his or her personal credentials is considered a user.
Organizer
n organizer is a user with administrative rights to the platform, which allows him/her to access the “edition” mode on the entire fair and to enter the “back-office”.
An organizer is easily identifiable with a star-shaped pictogram whenever his avatar is visible (public and private chats, profile card, list of visitors, etc.)
All messages posted by the organizer in public chats will stand out by being in the blue color.
Exhibitor
An Exhibitor is a user who has been associated with one or more booth(s) by an organizer, which gives him/her certain special rights on this/these booth(s), in particular the right to appear in the list of Exhibitors directly accessible by all visitors.
An Exhibitor is easily identifiable with a badge-shaped pictogram whenever his avatar is visible (public and private chats, profile card, list of visitors, etc.)
Speaker
A speaker is a user who has been associated with one or more conference rooms, which gives him special rights, in particular the right to appear in the list of speakers.
A speaker can also access the built-in tools to broadcast his or her stream (webcam and/or screen sharing) to all other users present in the conference room. A Speaker is easily identifiable with a microphone-shaped pictogram whenever his avatar is visible (public chat associated with his or her talk.)
Moderator
A moderator is a user who has been assigned to a public chat room or conference to moderate messages posted by other users. All support team members and organizers have moderation rights by default in all public chat areas, this option appears while placing your mouse over the message.
Support
A member of the technical support team has special privileges that will allow him/her to accompany users on their journey.
He is easily identifiable (public and private discussions, identity card, list of visitors to a space, etc.) thanks to a pictogram in the shape of a gear
All messages posted by a member of the support team in public chats will stand out by being in blue.
Visitor
A visitor is a user with no special rights or privileges.
