Conference Room

The conference room setup has the same options as the public chat rooms and the ability to highlight the room on the event’s website (the conference will appear in the “Conferences” tab but also on the homepage).

The organizer will also have to indicate the date of the conference, and if the conference is presented by a speaker or a group: if you select “a group”, the logo will be requested and will appear at the bottom of the conference thumbnail, otherwise, the photo of the designated speaker will be displayed.

Once the room is created, the red calendar on the thumbnail in edit mode means that you have not yet opened the registration for this conference. If you want to allow visitors to register, you have to click on the red pictogram so that it appears in green. Visitors can then register, add the conference to their agenda, and receive by email all the information related to this conference (schedule change, reminder…).

If you are using the integrated video solution for your conference, we will take care of filling in the iframe, the URL, and the stream key (be careful, remember to alert us). Alternatively, you can directly fill in the embed code for the conference video (iframe code), whether the video is pre-recorded or scheduled live (youtube live iframe for example).

The conference times will be indicated on the room’s card.

During the live stream, users can see in full screen what the speaker is broadcasting, and use the additional floating buttons provided to:

  • Show the public discussion wall
  • Display the list of moderators
  • View the list of speakers

After the live broadcast, if the room remains accessible, it will offer a replay of the live intervention, and the discussion can continue on the public discussion wall.

Please note, each conference room is charged €50.
